An independent studio project; we set out to find the hidden beauty in people and places in Oakland, California. 

How many times have you heard the song "I left my heart in San Francisco"? In fact, you'll find many of these "heart" art installations around the city. We asked ourselves how could we bring that same spirit to Oakland. 

We wanted to capture the essence of people who love living and working in Oakland, California. The identity design of "Luv Oakland" is based on a diamond that represent the deep diversity of Oakland.
